Propelling Into Triumph (PIT) is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering young adults who have been impacted by the foster care system.

Our Story

No young adult should navigate life alone

Many youth leave foster care without the support systems most young adults rely on. Founded by Shavon Saint Preux, a former foster youth herself, Propelling into Triumph was born from her lived experience and firsthand understanding of the challenges youth face when aging out of care. After experiencing the lack of consistent support and resources, she created PIT to ensure no young person has to navigate adulthood alone.

Our organization exists to provide guidance, encouragement, resources, and opportunities that empower young adults to overcome barriers, achieve self-sufficiency, and become confident, independent leaders within their communities.
